Tieto – Vendor profile – Worldwide 2016

Tieto’s development in 2015 follows the 5-year strategy plan in place until 2016, which has reached a new stage focusing on building new growth pillars and accelerators for business improvement. The process of simplification and efficiency within the organization has continued in 2015 with the divestment of the Lean System business focused on ERP systems for the manufacturing industry. Despite several internal and external economic difficulties, the company demonstrated a steady position and an organic growth (3%) by winning new deals and customers on the Nordic market, mainly in the public sector. In terms of services, Tieto has managed to increase standardization and automation in outsourcing services for both infrastructure and application management, which resulted into new agreements based on global delivery capabilities and industrialized processes.
