VISMA – VENDOR PROFILE – WORLDWIDE

The major focus for Visma in recent years has been the transition of its software portfolio toward a SaaS delivery model. This has been a successful transition and with more than NOK 5 billion in SaaS revenues Visma is by far the largest Nordic SaaS vendor.

Visma’s goal for the future is to achieve revenue of NOK 15-16 billion by 2020. Should the company be able to withhold the current growth pace, this goal will be achieved even though Visma had divested large operations (BPO, Hosting).

This rapid growth is built on both acquisitions and organic growth. Visma is completely rewriting its code, which means that investments are high. In 2017, R&D expenses amounted to approximately 15% of revenues. However, the company believes that most of the conversion is done and that costs will go down as on-premises solutions are phased out.
